AMC Space-A Self-Signup 2026: How to Register and Keep Proof
What Changed in 2026
Air Mobility Command now lists a New AMC Travel Self-Signup Tool for Space-Required and Space-Available travel, with the tool live for all AMC locations as of March 26, 2026. That matters because signup is becoming more centralized, while terminal pages and the legacy email signup path still matter for verification and edge cases.
Treat the official AMC path as the source of truth. Space-A Central helps you plan the route, keep proof, and avoid common registration mistakes; it does not replace the official terminal or AMC registration process.
The Safe Signup Sequence
- Pick the origin terminal. Signup seniority is tracked by terminal, not by an app itinerary.
- Use the official AMC self-signup tool when available. Start with the AMC Travel Site or the terminal page for the location you plan to depart from.
- Use email only when it is the appropriate fallback. Some terminal pages still list email, QR, or local signup workflows.
- Save proof immediately. Keep the confirmation, timestamp, terminal, and destination list. If an automated confirmation fails, your sent email or saved receipt can protect your seniority.
- Verify with the terminal before travel. Procedures, roll-call timing, and documents can change faster than public pages.
Do Not Accidentally Reset Your Priority
The highest-risk mistake is submitting again to the same terminal when you already have an active signup. Terminal guidance can treat the latest request as the active signup time, which means a second submission may reset your priority timestamp.
It is still normal to sign up at multiple terminals. The danger is duplicating the same terminal when you meant to confirm status. If you only need confirmation, contact the passenger terminal and ask whether your existing signup is on file.
What Proof Should You Keep?
- The terminal or AMC location you registered with.
- The signup date and time shown by the official tool, confirmation, or sent email.
- Your requested destinations or region, especially if you listed multiple options.
- The expiration date, usually 60 days after signup or the end of active-duty leave.
- A printable copy or screenshot you can show at the passenger terminal.
Space-A Central stores account-backed proof metadata for the planning workflow. It does not store raw DoD IDs, passenger names, phone numbers, or generated email bodies in the proof vault.
Where Space-A Central Fits
Use Space-A Central to compare terminals, plan backup routes, track the 60-day proof window, and keep web and iOS trip readiness in sync. When you are ready to register, use the official AMC signup path first, then save proof in Signup Proof & Email Generator or Trip Command Center.
