Space-Available lets eligible travelers request seats not needed for the mission. The useful workflow is eligibility, terminal, current evidence, official signup, documents, and a fallback—kept separate and source-aware.

  1. Confirm you’re eligible

    Start with boarding category, then check the exact traveler subtype and travel segment where policy requires it. Category alone is not a route permission, and unresolved conditions stay visible.

  2. Pick a terminal to fly out of

    Choose a supported operating terminal. Its page separates stable identity from mutable contact, signup, and roll-call fields, with an official handoff when a value needs verification.

  3. See what’s actually flying

    Open attributable current flight records for your route. The app shows source and freshness, keeps planning and history separate, and says unavailable when it cannot support a current claim.

  4. Sign up (correctly)

    Follow the operating terminal’s official signup method. When email is supported, the generator drafts from the terminal-specific template; preserve the official confirmation and timestamp as signup proof.

  5. Bring the right documents

    Document needs depend on the exact traveler, orders, accompaniment, route, and current terminal instruction. Space-A passengers cannot ship pets; service animals use a separate official coordination path.

  6. Show up, wait for roll call, fly

    Use the roll-call details in the attributable current posting and confirm them with the operating terminal. Keep leave limits, lodging, ground transport, and a commercial return ready because a posting or signup never guarantees boarding.
